Christian P. Callens is the Senior Vice President of Legal, General Counsel and Secretary for Insperity, roles he began in January 2024. Christian joined Insperity in January 2014 as Managing Counsel and Assistant Secretary, in which he led the Transactions and Corporate Law Practice Group. He was promoted to Deputy General Counsel, Managing Counsel and Assistant Secretary in October 2022.

Prior to joining Insperity in 2014, Christian was Counsel in the corporate practice of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. He also previously held an executive position at a privately held technology company. Christian began his legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable John Minor Wisdom of the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School, where he was Senior Managing Editor of the Tulane Law Review and a member of The Order of the Coif. Christian is also an active supporter of pro bono legal efforts and serves as a member of the coordinating committee for the Houston Pro Bono Joint Initiative.
