Senior EEO Consultant |
Los Angeles, California
Tamira Ryan knew the next place she wanted to work was at Insperity, then-named Administaff. She didn’t realize at the time that it would come to be the only place she wanted to work. Tamira started at Insperity in July 2006 as an HR Specialist and has been with the company ever since. Prior to Insperity, Tamira obtained her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification and worked in the human-resources arena, primarily in the manufacturing and medical industries. In 2010, Tamira received recognition as one of Insperity’s “Employee of the Year,” an award she cherishes. In 2015, Tamira transitioned from an HR specialist to an EEO consultant on Insperity’s EEO Services team, where she utilizes her skills in investigating, problem solving and negotiation. In 2019, Tamira was promoted to senior EEO consultant and currently services middle-market and enterprise clients. In the spring of this year, Tamira was named as one of the MVP winners for Qtr1 2020. Tamira grew up in a very small farm community in central Illinois. It was there that she learned the value of hard work, faith and perseverance, and kindness – which closely mirror the values of Insperity. One of Tamira’s favorite sayings is “Fall down seven; Stand up eight.” Tamira raised two boys who are now young men, Patrick and Jack, whom she describes as “The light of my world.” Tamira would like to say that she enjoys playing tennis, running or keeping fit; however, what she really enjoys is laying on the couch with a bag of potato chips; a diet coke and watching Netflix. She intends to get off the couch once the heat dies down and start taking walks; then maybe running and tennis … we’ll see. She says that every year.
