People Manager FAQs
People Manager 8 does not allow storage outside of the default location. The default location is typically in a single SQL Server Compact Edition Database File, extension (.sdf).
People Manager 8 is a single user application that must be installed locally. A license must be purchased for each computer where People Manager 8 is installed. Only one user may access the database at a time.
The default user id and password is master in all lower case.
There is no direct interface between People Manager and payroll software programs. People Manager does support payroll services, providing two ways to get data from the application that could be interfaced to a payroll service database:
- You can use the reporting utility to create a copy of the entire database into access which includes all time balances.
- You can run the payroll file which will create the records in a CSV format. This information can be imported into any payroll service database that will import a .CSV file.
