Our 800-plus service team members account for more than a third of all corporate employees. They come to us from a variety of industries, where they average more than 10 years’ experience in their fields, and their tenure with Insperity ranges to 11 years. Service team members help America’s best small businesses grow and thrive by strengthening our clients’ human resources (HR) practices.
Our team of innovative professionals includes:
Team Manager – Managerial oversight of Insperity client services team members. Team managers are responsible for ensuring service satisfaction for a targeted group of clients, and they actively participate in planning and coordinating the delivery of the clients’ customized Insperity service solutions.
Client Liaison – Evaluates and determines clients’ HR needs with a consultative approach, and develops and aligns service delivery strategy to meet client company goals. The client liaison serves as the main point of contact for Insperity clients, regularly meeting with clients to collaborate on current HR practices, implementing new HR practices, prioritizing areas for further focus and designing a business strategy around people practices.
Payroll Specialist – Serves as the main point of contact for approximately 150 clients’ payroll needs and questions. Payroll specialists process pay information to generate an accurate, timely payroll; maintain data for complete and accurate employee files; and work with onsite supervisors and/or payroll contacts to handle:
- Processing of employee new-hire, change-of-status and termination paperwork
- Payroll processing, including bonuses, other forms of wage payments and final termination checks
- Support for payroll and employee report generation
- WebPayroll and tax withholding (W-2s, W-4s, FICA, FUTA, SUTA)
- Advising clients on payroll requirements, such as overtime pay
Our payroll environment is fast paced, but it’s not a call-center environment like many payroll departments. Payroll specialists tend to have more contact with Insperity clients than other members of the service team, so a customer-service passion is a must in this role. All payroll specialists will undergo a six-week formal training process.
Recruiting Specialist – Assists clients with filling full-time, regular opportunities. Our recruiting specialists are responsible for full life-cycle recruiting, including sourcing résumes, interviewing candidates, client interview coordination, classified advertising creation and pre-employment testing. Our recruiters recruit strictly for existing clients. This position does not include cold-calling for job orders.
Performance Specialist – Supports clients by offering tools to help their employees sharpen skills, develop new ones, and improve performance. The performance specialist will manage and coordinate client companies’ training and development needs by:
- Providing training needs analysis – Through the course of several conversations, interviews and questionnaires, gaps are identified between required competencies and existing competencies.
- Creating training and development plan – Using the information gathered through the needs analysis, a working document is produced and approved by the client, which includes recommendations and suggested curriculum to improve employee performance.
- Coaching – With online, virtual and instructor-led methods available, a sampling of our learning experiences include communication, management and leadership, liability management and customer service.
- Evaluating – Assessing the value, effectiveness and satisfaction with the service delivered. The measures of success are determined by the client during the initial needs analysis.
Safety Consultant – Provides extensive safety consultation at clients’ requests to help minimize unnecessary fines and provide a safe working environment for clients’ employees. The safety consultant conducts safety inspections to identify any potential hazards and consults with clients’ management to develop measures to correct hazards, reduce exposure and minimize potential loss causes. The safety consultant also develops a customized safety program based on a company’s needs, which can also include specialized trainings, such as industry-specific hazard control programs, OSHA-required training programs and supervisor training.
Human Resources Specialist – Reviews all HR performance items associated with clients’ customized service plans. Through a consultative, strategic business relationship with clients, HR specialists review all of their clients’ policies, procedures and actions for compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations. They also handle issues relating to employee relations and conflict resolution, supervisor and employer liability management training, performance measurement and review, compensation and incentive plans, salary surveys, job descriptions, employee handbooks and terminations support

Enterprise and Technology Solutions (IT) is the branch of Insperity that researches, designs and implements the company’s information technology infrastructure. IT is made up of four groups:

- Technology Infrastructure and Services
A career with Insperity’s IT team will afford you the opportunity to work in a Microsoft environment. Our IT department boasts approximately 500 servers, supporting nearly 2,000 corporate employees. Over 100,000 of our clients’ employees use many of the 150-200 applications that our IT department supports, several of which Insperity has built. The primary application that we support is our Employee Service Center, a Web-based, self-service platform that provides 24-hour automated, personalized services to client owners and employees.

Insperity Retirement Services, a subsidiary of Insperity, Inc., is a full-service 401(k) plan provider. Insperity Retirement Services serves more than 3,000 Insperity clients.
About Our Products and Services
Insperity Retirement Services provides full services for clients participating in the Insperity 401(k) Plan and client-sponsored 401(k) plans, as well as nonqualified deferred compensation plans. Depending on the product, Insperity Retirement Services professionals handle all the daily retirement plan-related administrative duties, as well as manage retirement-related employee communications, complete compliance tasks and monitor changes in legislation. The majority of clients participate in the Insperity 401(k) Plan, which includes:
